Oceans Scheveningen // As it is almost summer I just have to share this tip with you guys. If your visiting Scheveningen soon, be sure to visit OCEANS! You can have a great time on their Ibiza style Beach Terrace called Oceans Beach House or go and have a nice dining experience at Oceans Square.

I am telling you because I visited their opening and I had the chance to talk to one of the owners Preshaan Gangapersadsing and he mentioned they want to be “A Restaurant at the Beach”.  I think he meant they are not just an average beach place where you are lucky if there are spareribs and chicken satay with peanut sauce and fries on the menu. Well AMEN to that.

The Oceans Beach House is biza style decorated and you get a nice chill and relaxed vibe. I got welcomed with some wine and of course there was food! We got spoiled with some amazing Oysters and after having the Vodka and Tabasco combo I stuck to that. What a winning combination. The Gin Tonics were also nicely made with a summer twist using Grapefruit. What I like is that they work with a daily produce and the fish comes from Schmidt Zeevis Rotterdam and their meat comes from Fontein Vlees, both pretty well known suppliers in the area. Besides the oysters, they served us bbqd shrimps topped with a nice pesto dressing and OH! absolutely divine grilled Black Angus steak.

       
To get the whole OCEANS experience, we (the BF and Susan from Smulpaapje) decided to go for a dining experience at the OCEANS Square too. What a beautiful place and the Lady Steak I enjoyed was to die for.
