Hot Spot: For the best cocktails in town you have to stop by DVARS (Reguliersdwarsstraat 44) where Cocktail King Andrew Nichols makes you the most amazing cocktails. And for some fingerlickin’ good Asian food, The Red Sun (Olympiaplein 176) is the place to be!

Fave meal: Oooh, tough one. I have so many favorite meals..I guess I would have to go for Surinamese/Indian roti with chicken and pumpkin.

Fave Cuisine:  My mother is from Suriname, so I grew up with this cuisine in which you’ll find a lot of influences from India and Indonesia. Lots of rice dishes and spices. Absolutely love it!

Dish you master: I love to cook, but I don’t really have a particular dish that I master. Friends and family always love my nasi, white beans in tomato sauce with chicken and rice and my cheesecake for dessert.

Recipe for Cheesecake Bianca style
I use this recipe for the amounts and then give it a little twist by using Bastogne cookies and a lot more lemon. I finish off my cheesecake by spreading a little lemon zest on top of the cake. Find my culinary posts on instagram via #eetusmakelijk.
