In my christmas post of Dec 19 I already talked about the Lindenhoff, but did not feel like I mentioned everything.
My BF is the one who introduced me to the wonderful world of cooking. When we first met, he would always cook and I ate. Slowly, he was the chef and I was his sous chef and gradually I started to like it. A lot! We first heard about the Lindenhoff through ELLE eten magazine and went there to buy some nice products for a dinner. It has been 10 years ago, if I am not mistaking and we are still a fan.
Every time the BF would say he would go there to make dinner, I knew our bank account would get hurt, but it was worth it. He would call it his brown paper bag with jewels in it. And honestly, yes he would create masterpieces. It definitly is true…when using quality products they do half the work.
Nowadays we enjoy taking the mini there too when we go so she can see some of the animals, after we’ve bought some yummy goodies. They have an amazing cheese section, a real butcher, a fruit and veggies corner, fruit juices and wines. Oh and lets not forget the bread form van Menno. I have accepted the fact that we go in to buy specifically but end up buying a lot of things we just had to eat. They are very service minded and are willing to help out when e.g. you need some advice on a cheese platter or a specific dish you will be serving.
The Lindenhoff Marche is open to the public eye on specific days (see details below) but if you can’t wait, you can also order online.
