Why I have mad love for Instagram, because it inspires, it connects and it makes you follow people that like the same things as you do.

Thats exactly what happened when I saw a picture of the cutest little pastry shop and I just had to go. That shop I am telling you all about today! My Little Patisserie, situated in the Pijp in Amsterdam.

Its a small, minimalistic but uber cute pastell interior where you see a little counter filled with pastries (choux, eclairs, mille feulle and freshly baked croissants) that scream eat me all; meaning buy me all. I just couldn’t eat them all, but if I could, I would. Glad I could bring some home too.

The patisseries are made every morning using the best ingredients, including high quality dairy products and Valrhona!! <<OMG>> chocolate.

My aunt was celebrating her 65th bday, but she was abroad. Still me, my mom and the mini said we should celebrate and we did! I had some Green Jasmine Floral tea from ‘Les 2 marmottes’, the mini a ‘Schulp’ apple juice and my mom went for a green tea as well.

I went straight for the vanilla eclair and the mini followed me ordering a chocolate eclair. My mom went for the “My Little Fleur”: a raspberry mousse with pistachio creme and pistachio financier biscuit. As we were sitting down, the mini decided she wanted to have what my mom was having, so we ordered her one and I had to eat hers (what a punishment hahaha).

That eclair has gotten me obsessed, its time for me to take out my “Tarte Tatin” cookbook again and start practicing, cause that nice crispy moist outside and the suprisingly fluffy rich cream inside has got me screaming for more.

Actually you could stay there the whole day: Have breakfast at the Yoghurt Barn, do some shopping at Cotton Cake, then head back to coffee or tea and eclairs at My little Patisserie and finish off with some Javanese food by Marlon. Have drinks and take a stroll along the Sarphatipark.

Audrey is a super sweet patissier, who followed her education at the ‘Ecole-de-boulangerie-et-de-Pâtisserie’ in Paris, worked for Petit Gateau in Amsterdam too and now started building on her own dream with My Little Patisserie.
