Sweet Potato Fries…Madness
Yess I made them. I am probably the last one, but I’d say better late than never. My sweet friend Melissa told me a million if not even a zillion times to make these. But it took me quite some time to actually do it hehehe..I mean its a hard knock life..go to the supermarket, by those sweet potatoes..wash them..cut them up and throw them in the oven..Yes it was that ..just that.
These fries are definitely to die for and they are so easy to make..
Sweet potato fries
400gr of sweet potatoes
Olive oil for drizzling
Cut up your fries – about 1 cm thick and place them in a bowl of cold water for about an hour.
Drain and let it sit for about 10 minutes.
Preheat your oven to 220°C
Pat dry and sprinkle with olive oil. Not too much, start with 2 tablespoons and mix it all up.
On a baking try line up some baking paper and make sure to place the fries with enough space between them, add a dash of sea salt and bake for about 15 minutes and turn them and bake for another 10 minutes. Done!
I ate them with some truffle mayonaise. M-A-G-I-C-A-L
